“A gesture toward the invisible: the memory of minerals, the presence of hands, a meeting between the inner and the outer. A manifestation of how material remembers, and how tactile knowledge arises in the unspoken.”
SANSELIGT SÅR moves within the tension between hardness and tenderness. The transparency and sharp fragility of glass set the frame for a piece about memory and silence - not as absence, but as active presence. The crystal patterns become marks in a silent language, spoken not with words but with hands. There’s a geological calm to the work, and at the same time a palpable intimacy, as if the glass itself is in contact. The title points to a paradox: the wound is sensuous, open, perhaps beautiful - yet a remnant of rupture. The piece gives form to the invisible, inviting touch as understanding.
